Introduction

Huddle helps your family organise schedules, lists, finances and reminders in one shared place. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep things simple and only use your information to run the app for you.

Information we collect

Family content you create: events, tasks, shopping items, meal plans, bills, expenses, savings goals and messages.

Family member profiles: names, roles and optional photos you add.

Receipt images you choose to scan, and the details we read from them: merchant, amount, date and category.

Basic app data needed to run features, such as an anonymous device identifier used to manage your subscription.

How we use your information

To provide the core app: showing your schedule, lists, finances and reminders.

To power the AI assistant and receipt scanning, which process the text and images you send so we can answer questions or log expenses.

To manage Huddle Premium subscriptions and free trials.

We do not sell your personal information.

AI features

When you ask the assistant a question or scan a receipt, the relevant text or image is sent to a trusted AI provider to generate a response or extract details. This data is used only to complete your request and is not used to build a profile of you.

Storage & security

Your family data is stored on secure servers, and receipt images are kept in secure cloud storage. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong device security too.

Data sharing

Content is shared with the family members in your household so everyone stays in sync. We use a small number of trusted service providers for hosting, AI and subscription management who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Your choices & rights

You can edit or remove family content at any time within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. Contact us using the details below to make a request.

Children

Huddle is designed for parents to manage family life. Accounts are set up and controlled by an adult in the household. Children’s details are only added at a parent’s discretion.

Subscriptions

Huddle Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the date at the top of this page.
